In April 0f 2008 PROWARE acquired SoftTec expanding our products and services, as well as extending our geographic territory from a regional provider to a national focus.

PROWARE is pleased to announce the successful resolution of litigation with Cuyahoga County and in particular the protection of PROWARE’s Intellectual Property at the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court.

"We’re thrilled!", said PROWARE CEO Randy Sadler. "PROWARE is better positioned to serve the needs of Courts, Clerk’s Offices, Detention and Probation Departments and all other related areas of Judicial responsibilities than ever before."

"PROWARE’s acquisition of SoftTec assets, our on-going pursuit of creating even more jobs, the unfortunate continuation of failed/stalled/suspended Court projects by other vendors, large corporations changing their 'strategic direction', as well as PROWARE's reputation for delivering quality solutions makes PROWARE the most qualified provider of case management solutions in the market today", said Don Flischel, Vice President of Operations.

In addition to the resolution of litigation between the parties, PROWARE and Cuyahoga County have agreed to enter into a new five year maintenance agreement for the Court and Clerk Justice Information System ("CCJIS") used by the Common Pleas Court and Clerk’s Office, as well as a second, separate five year maintenance agreement for the Cuyahoga County Domestic Relations Court.
